Moisture in building materials can destroy structural integrity and nurture mold. The infrared camera is a highly specialized tool used primarily to locate and pinpoint sources of leaks and water intrusion in buildings, eliminating the need for destructive source finding. The method is most effective shortly after a leak has occurred and less effective when no moisture remains in the building material. This camera collects color thermal images that can be easily e-mailed to you and used for documentation in reports.
